Health Access Awarded $32,500 Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) Tax Credits

This year Health Access, Inc. free clinic is pleased to announce that we are once again the recipients of Neighborhood Investment Program state tax credits in the amount of $32,500.00!

The Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) was established to increase charitable giving to local non-profit organizations.

The program allows 501(c)-3 designated charitable organizations to apply for tax credit vouchers. These organizations then distribute the vouchers to businesses and individuals who contribute to the organization. Donors may use the credits to reduce liability for their West Virginia taxes.

Donors can receive a credit equal to half of their donation, with a minimum contribution of $500.00, as long as credits remain.

If you have questions or would like to make a donation, please contact Jim Harris, Executive Director at 304-622-2708.
